• Saturday May 15th, The Woodlands Community Market and Parks Committee (Farmers Market), is having a garage sale on the railbed at the market site. 9am-3pm, hotdogs and drinks will be sold.$10 per table/person, anything allowed-crafts, consultants etc. And they can contact me via email or Face Book. • Woodlands Minor Baseball Tournament on May 29th and 30th, canteen will be open, possibly some draws/raffles. We have had a great response with minor ball this year, and are running 8 teams out of Woodlands.

• Friday Night Slo-pitch League is set to begin on June 18th, we have room for 2 more teams if anyone is intrested. All reg. $$ (200) is due by June 1, at which time we will make up the draw. The tournament will be held on August 28th. call Alana @ 383-5273

• Hit, Run, and Throw Competition for all kids ages 4-12, sponsored in part with Manitoba Baseball association on Saturday June 19th at 11am, registration at 10am. Everyone is welcome to attend, great goodie bags for all participants, awards for everyone, and the winners get a chance to compete at Canwest Global Park with the Winnipeg Goldeyes (please note that the children DO NOT have to part of minor ball to take part in this event)

• WCI Graduating Class of 1990 is holding a REUNION SOCIAL on June 26th, at Woodlands Hall. They are donating all proceeds to the rec centre replacement fund, everyone is welcome to attend!!! If you need tickets, let me know and I will get some for you. call Alana @ 383-5273

• We are planning our Grand Opening for our new facility on 130th Anniversary 2010 weekend in Woodlands. We will be hosting a day time volleyball tournament in Woodlands on the Saturday July 24th starting at 2 pm. To enter, call Alana @ 383-5273

• Minor Baseball will be holding a Bud, Spud, and Steak as a fundraiser this year. The date is yet to be detemined.
