Donna – kokopeli krafts

Donna first picked up a paint brush just over 3 years ago, when declining health confined her to her home.  When she was healthy, she enjoyed traveling. Some of her paintings reflect those travels, especially Hawaii, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.  Some of the tools she uses are brushes, but she also uses more unorthodox items such as toothpicks and erasers for her unique style.

She is an avid and compassionate supporter of several charities throughout the city, with the Humane Society at the top of the list.  She lives with her two rescued dogs and an abandoned cat, as well as feeding anything that hops or flys into her yard.

Donna is very humble, yet passionate about her art.  Although she is unable to come out and sell, the highlight of her day is hearing the comments of buyers and browsers.

This is her second year of selling her art, at the insistance of her friends, and there seems to be a niche for her paintings, geckos, mailboxes, etc.  She is also happy to accept custom orders.
