Grill Rental

Rental Information and Use Instructions for the 6ft. Propane Grill Owned by the West Interlake Trading Company in Warren, Manitoba

Rental of $40.00 / day with a deposit of $100.00 is required by all groups wishing to use this grill. Your deposit will be returned to you if grill is returned clean and undamaged. Deposit may be by cheque.
The WITC does not supply propane or propane bottles and anyone renting this grill must ensure that you are use proper propane bottles. Use standard propane bottle suitable for BBQ
WITC will supply the proper cleaning stone for grill.
Have a Crescent Wrench available to use for tightening and loosening the connection if needed

Turn on the Propane tank
Turn Center burner on first and light this burner
When this grill area is warm turn on other burners as needed from this center (inside burner) towards the outside of the grill
Control the temperature of each burner separately by turning each burner up or down as needed
Suggest doing a test run on the food you are cooking to determine the correct heat

spray grill surface with a cooking spray to prevent food from sticking, especially important for pancakes

Clean grill off in between food types (such as pancakes & onions) to avoid transfer of flavors from one food to the next.

Do not leave grill overnight without cleaning
Turn off burners and let the grill cool slightly- it is easier to clean when warm.
Scrape off heavy buildup of food with metal spatula
Use the cleaning stone and water. Warm water is best.
Once you have scrubbed the grill completely wipe it clean with a paper towel. You may have to repeat steps until grill is completely clean.
Using a clean piece of paper towel and a small amount of oil on the towel rub on a light coating of oil over the entire grill area.
Re-tarp grill and ensure tarp is secure prior to transport.
