Self Guided Driving Tour Map #2

Discover the West Interlake on a Self Guided Driving Tour That takes in 6 Attractions.
Depart from Winnipeg (or anywhere else along the tour) and head N/W on highway number 6. Your first stop is Warren Manitoba where you can take a tour of the “Sentinel” Grain Elevator and stop at the Country Market adjacent to the beautiful Warren Park Complex. Next you will continue N/W on highway 6 until you get to Woodlands. While you are there check out the Woodlands Pioneer Museum where there are 6 buildings packed with amazing artifacts. Continue N/W to Eriksdale (famous for it’s murals) and take a tour, learn how to churn butter at the Eriksdale Creamery Museum. Change directions now and head E on highway 68 to Poplarfield where you will turn S on highway 17. The Chatfield Park of Souvenirs Museum is the next attraction in the small town of Chatfield. While there you will have to visit their “Hanky House” with more than 3000 antique hankies on display. These friendly folks will feed you tea and cookies and will let you stay in their guest house if you want to make this a 2-day tour. Continuing S down highway 17, your next stop should be the amazing snake dens near Narcisse (especially in spring or fall). Where you will see the largest gathering of Red Sided Garters in the world. Your last stop will be in Teulon where you can visit the Museum. This is quite a jam-packed trip so you might prefer to spread it over 2 days or choose to stop at only a few of the highlights along the way.
