“The Gallery” is located on Highway #6 at Moosehorn, Manitoba

“The Gallery” is operated by the “village Artists” who are a group dedicated to the promotion and development of the arts in all forms. It operates on a volunteer basis charging a consignment fee on all sales. The individual artists establish the prices for their work and all items have to be original creations.

In order to contribute to “The Gallery” it is not necessary to be a member of “Village Artists” however, by joining “Village Artists” it is possible to enjoy benefits such as: reduced consigment fee, reduced supply costs at Artists Emporium in Winnipeg, sponsored workshops, information on Art Shows and Competitions. If you like to knit, sew, sculpt, paint, draw, photograph, carve or craft, why not consider “The Gallery”. Contact us using the information above.

Village Artists

This group was formed in 1988 to encourage local people to develop and appreciate the arts. Through the years they have had art shows and workshops as a forum for artistic development. In 2006, they created “The Gallery” as a permanent location to market original crafts and artistry. In their first season they showcased 52 artists who came from all areas of Manitoba. Their philosophy has always been to encourage everyone to develop their creativity. Village Artists recognizes that creativity is a journey of self development and expression and they provide encouragement no matter what level the artist/artisan is at!
